Renaissance costume jewelry, for my sister's Renaissance Festival costume.

Full view, please! The idea of this jewelry is that the center medallion is going to be pinned like a brooch to the top center of the bodice line of the dress, which is pretty straight. The top strings of pearls (the ones ending with round metal things) are going to droop down and then up again to be pinned a few inches away from the brooch on either side, at the top of the bodice line. The other two strands (the ones ending with the oval metal things) will just dangle down.

On the right is a pic of the entire thing. On the left are detail shots of the brooch in the middle, the decorative pieces on the ends, and the proportionate sizes of the glass pearls.

Pearls right next to each other look kind of odd, so I strung gold-colored seed beads between them. The pearls, beads, and metal pieces, as well as the hardware, came from Michael's arts and crafts supply store.
